Though the Home Manager is a great product that performs very well as a home automation system, its components are aging and becoming less reliable with age. As everything electronic these days, things are improving. Improving in functionality, reliability, appearance and usability. With the Unity Systems being out of business now for over three years it is very challenging keeping existing systems humming along.
Foreseeing this situation a couple of years ago, our company embarked on an effort to create upgrade modules for the Home Manager system that incorporate newer, more reliable components and improve upon the user paradigm that Home Manager owners have come to enjoy.
A new Color Touchscreen is now available that replaces the original Touchscreen. Utilizing the latest in LCD Touchscreen technology, the new 15” Touchscreen for the Home Manager provides a vast improvement in usability. Offering bright and vivid colors, your Home Manager is elevated to a new level of excitement and reliability with an easier to use interface and an easier set of controls. Floor plans are enhanced with 3D technology and unnecessary control buttons are eliminated.
Coupled with the new Touchscreen is a new Security/Fire Module for the Home Manager. The new display keypads provide true useable information to the user at all times. The higher zone capacity of the new module allows virtually every door, window, motion, and smoke sensor to be individually identified for true ease of use and flexibility of the system. This system provides the safety, security, and control over your house that you and your family need. If you’ve had headaches resetting smoke sensors when they trip you’ll appreciate the fact that you’ll no longer need to run all over the house to reset a smoke sensor. It is now easily done from any keypad or the Touchscreen.
In addition to providing enhanced control of your Home Manager, the new upgraded modules provide opportunities to add additional control capabilities to your Touchscreen. An irrigation control module is available that provides full control and scheduling of your sprinklers from the touchscreen, with ease-of-use never before realized in a sprinkler control system.
If you have interest in being able to remotely control your system when you are away from your home, you may enjoy the remote access module now available. This allows you to see and perform any control you normally do from a touchscreen from any internet linked computer in the world. Of course, this utilizes a secure link that is highly encrypted for secure operation. Perhaps you're interested in viewing surveillance cameras on the Touchscreen or controlling your audio system. The new Touchscreens can accommodate these desires with easy-to-use control sources.
